老彭这一仗，于公是国家大义，树立了抗日信心，而于一党之私，提前暴露了共产党的力量乃至招到日寇的疯狂报复，损失惨重，公道自在人心，后人自然有中肯的评价，谁敢横刀立马，彭将军的民族情怀延续至朝鲜战争都让人肃然起敬
